2002-02-09 Thread Josip Rodin
Hi,

When can we expect updated Abiword packages? :)
Are you a developer or still just sponsored?

Nah, if we've waited this long...

Just wondering if you're actively working on it.

I'd love to, but I'm afraid my poor old 33.6 modem would choke on this large
source package. :) Do ask on debian-mentors, I'm sure someone will get back
to you.

If you need a backup sponsor, just ping me. I want to see abiword in
woody :-)

BTW, who is your current sponsor?

Bug#133016: abiword NMU

2002-02-13 Thread Masayuki Hatta
Hi everyone,

(Sorry, I did know aaronl has orphaned it, but didn't know Jan is
gonna taking it over before I've completed it ;-)

Anyway, if it's okay, I'd like to NMU abiword ASAP.

My fixes include:

o New upstream version 0.9.6.1
o Completed defoma support (J works, but not sure C and K are okay...foka,
would you test it?)
o Enabled features as many as possible (bidi and perl scripting support seems
to be broken)
o Hopefully closes some BRs

Regards,

If you ask me, go right ahead. The maintainer can upload later at his
convenience, and with less pressure.

Does these new features add any dependencies to the package?
