Bug#164800: I don't know what to do with the rest of the build errors

2008-04-02 Thread Raphael Geissert
Hello Kari,

I wished that having a new version of ace would cull some of the build

them, having errors in files like
 /usr/include/c++/4.0.2/bits/locale_facets.tcc and
/usr/include/sys/ucontext.h is quite disconcerting. Some of this may
be caused by upstream's fondness of #define. Some errors are plain
misuse of templates. I'll give this a rest and move on to some more
pressing and fruitful things for now. If anybody else has any idea on
how to fix these, I'll welcome their input.

What I've got done so far has been put to mentors.debian.net.

The bug you mentioned in your previous email was fixed a while ago.

Are you still interested in adopting this package?

Guenter: what do you think about retitling this bug to actually orphan the
package, or even requesting the removal of this package? not many people seem
to be interested on it.

If you agree to remove this package, sending the following commands to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:
severity 164800 normal
reassign 164800 ftp.debian.org
retitle 164800 RM: ivtools -- RoM; reasons
thanks

Kind regards,

FTR, Kari's email bounces as the host doesn't exist anymore.
