Bug#180050: O: isync -- synchronize a local maildir with a remote IMAP4 mailbox
Hi Joey! I might be interrested to take over isync, since I use it. But as you prefer to use offlineimap rather than isync, I wonder how both compare. As you have use both, could you tell me how they compare? And do you know how both compare with mailsync? One feature I like in insync is the ability to limit the number of synchronized messages to a given number, and it seems that this feature is not available in mailsync/offlineimap. Regards, Nicolas
Bug#180050: O: isync -- synchronize a local maildir with a remote IMAP4 mailbox
Package: wnpp Version: unavailable; reported 2003-02-06 Severity: normal I'm looking for someone who still uses isync and wants to maintain the debian package. I switched to offlineimap soon after adopting isync and fixing/forwarding all its bugs; now it has new bugs that I'm not in a position to work on. It also has a new upstream maintainer; this may complicate getting the licence incompatability that is keeping it in non-us resolved. Michael Elkins has accepted the need to change the license and was going to do so in the next upstream release, but he never made said release.. The new upstream site for isync is isync.sourceforge.net. As of today there is no new upstream version there yet. -- see shy jo pgpxPqtBuCHFu.pgp Description: PGP signature
