   Description : Python graphics package

PyX is a Python package for the creation of encapsulated PostScript
figures. It provides both an abstraction of PostScript and a TeX/LaTeX
interface. Complex tasks like 2d and 3d plots in publication-ready
quality are built out of these primitives.

Could you please expand your short description, perhaps mentioning
PostScript? Python graphics package is not very specific.

Thanks

Way too generic, in my opinion. Maybe

Description: generate postscript graphics from python

Also, the name should be python-pyx, right? See
/usr/share/doc/python/python-policy.txt.gz.

The irony is that Bill Gates claims to be making a stable operating

how about: Python PostScript graphics package? im trying to stick to the
formula from the developer's reference (6.2.2).

Also, the name should be python-pyx, right? See
 /usr/share/doc/python/python-policy.txt.gz.

pyx is just the source package names. the binary package follow the
python policy.

Yeah, I knew the action-oriented phrase wasn't quite right.

I guess what I'm trying to get at is that the software is for generating
PS from code, rather than an interactive drawing program.

ahh. sounds like Python module for generating PostScript graphics
might be a good idea then?
