Bug#195948: Change to standard makefile?
Hi! I have been discussing about the different target's option with Guillem Jover, and it seems rather difficult to create a package which needs several recompilations to obtain the different targets we want to obtain (dspam-libdb4, dspam-pgsql, dspam-mysql and dspam-sqlite). Is there any objection if we move to a standard makefile? Otherwise, we need a makefile expert to put some time in the package. Hmm... it's not really that much of a problem. I have already done it with Bacula. The real problem here is providing some sort of auto-configuration for users for this i am awaiting bdconfig-common to be uploaded, so that we can start testing. Is there any objection if we move to a standard makefile? Please, elaborate on this. Otherwise, we need a makefile expert to put some time in the package. No problem. I can do it. I will start putting quite some work on this as soon as i get back from my vacation. J Best, J.L.

It seems to be a real problem using CDBS, which i seem i failed to mention. Of course using debhelper plus standard targets is much easier. Which was my point. Otherwise, we need a makefile expert to put some time in the package. No problem. I can do it. I will start putting quite some work on this as soon as i get back from my vacation. I will start working on it, too. Not to duplicate work but to get some experience, too.
