Yeah. Avery's alive. I walked over and talked to him, and he's
willing to be your upstream. I'll take a look at your packages next
week, OK?

Is the package coming soon? I hope it also raises the
Standards-Version.

it is, don't worry :) anyhow I have to finish some little things, packages can be
found at http://debian.esaurito.net/unstable/netselect_0.3-5_i386.deb

I'm planning to have all the minor things done within two or three days (or the next
year, perhaps :) )

No, I'm not in the NM queue, I'm just waiting for a DD to sign my gpg key.
Probably I'll get my key signed the next month or so.

Are you also in the New Maintainer queue yet? It takes a long
time to get in so you might want to start soon.

Have a great weekend.

Yes, I'm alive, just very busy. I'd rather someone else sponsored your
package, just because even the effort of looking at your patches may delay
the package indefinitely.

Thanks!

yes, I've looked at the code and it is not that difficult but thanks for the
reminder :)

anyhow today I did some work on netselect closing most of the trivial bugs,
here you can find the new package:

http://debian.esaurito.net/unstable/netselect_0.3-5.dsc
http://debian.esaurito.net/unstable/netselect_0.3-5.tar.gz

and for convenience there's a diff between -4 and -5 tree here:

http://debian.esaurito.net/netselect_0.3.diff.gz

that would be really great, let's wait for Avery if he (she?) is alive or not!

kind regards,
filippo.

You do realise that Avery is also the upstream developer right?
This probably means that you'll have to maintain the code as well.

I'd be willing to sponsor you if Avery doesn't have time to.
