Copying-pasting from the sylpheed RFA. I would like the one who adopts this package to also pickup sylpheed, as they are tightly related. Althought I am not into the 'leaves RC bugs open for lots of time' class aj talked about, I certainly could perform a much better job in packaging if I were not overloaded. I would like to focus on packages like apt-howto which desperately needs updating/attention and would like to work more closely to the GNOME packaging team. I really like these packages (sylpheed-*), but they need more attention than I can give them right now. So I'm looking for someone who works with sylpheed daily, understands mail-related protocols a bit and also have some C coding skills. Upstream people are very nice and cooperate with me a lot -- much more than I have been cooperating with them =( Thanks, -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux beterraba.horta 2.4.22 #1 Ter Out 28 01:49:30 BRST 2003 i686 Locale: LANG=pt_BR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pt_BR.UTF-8 --------------------------------------- Received: (at 222729-done) by bugs.debian.org; 13 Apr 2004 01:17:24 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 12 18:17:24 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from leticia.terra.com.br [200.154.55.226] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BDCYG-0008TM-00; Mon, 12 Apr 2004 18:17:24 -0700 Received: from paramonga.terra.com.br (paramonga.terra.com.br [200.154.55.133]) by leticia.terra.com.br (Postfix) with ESMTP id 6DF2F3CDC7 for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Mon, 12 Apr 2004 22:17:22 -0300 (BRT) Received: from beterraba.horta (unknown [200.216.100.71]) (authenticated user bhz52091) by paramonga.terra.com.br (Postfix) with ESMTP id 19C543C02E for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Mon, 12 Apr 2004 22:17:22 -0300 (BRT) Received: from kov by beterraba.horta with local (Exim 4.31) id 1BDCYA-0000rA-EU for [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Mon, 12 Apr 2004 22:17:18 -0300 Subject: the package has been adopted by Ricardo Mones Lastra From: Gustavo Noronha Silva <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Content-Type: text/plain Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Ximian Evolution 1.5.5 Date: Mon, 12 Apr 2004 22:17:16 -0300 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=0.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,RCVD_IN_DSBL autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 1 Package has been already uploaded by the new maintainer, so closing the bug.
