From the web page:

The rewriting was never finished, and since late 2002 the source
code has undergone bit-rot. The core Subversion C API has changed quite a
bit, and it's certain that in order to compile gsvn and get it back in
shape, someone needs to spend a good deal of time changing the code to
match the newest Subversion API.

Is it being developed again? Is somebody going to fix it to get it compile?

The upstream web page says:

At the moment, gsvn has been mostly abandoned by its original
authors, due to lack of time. [- - -]

The rewriting was never finished, and since late 2002 the source

gsvn and get it back in shape, someone needs to spend a good

If this is accurate, and no-one is maintaining or developing gsvn,
perhaps it would not be a good idea to package it for Debian.

I suggest capitalizing python in written entirely in python,
changing instances of GTK to GTK+, and lowercasing Client in the
synopsis line.
