Because the maintainer has stated to not have sufficient time anymore
for Debian packages, I'm now orphaning this package.

Bug#253955: ITA: sirc -- a Perl IRC client

2004-06-11 Thread Matthew Wilcox
Package: wnpp

The former Debian maintainer seems to be MIA and I recently had to fix
the ssfe code (the curses frontend) up to work on ia64. Since his
keys are no longer in the Debian keyring and he has not posted to
the Debian mailing lists in severl months, I suspect this will be an
uncontroversial adoption.

While this doesn't seem to be a terribly hard package to maintain with
an inactive upstream, I'd welcome anyone who wants to co-maintain it.
