No problem. Are you however interested by co-maintaining this package ?

Arnaud Fontaine

I'm interested in Debian having a planet package but have not yet had
time to package it. Norbet Tretkowski made a planet package a while ago
but I don't think it was ever uploaded to the archive. I'm fine with
someone else packaging planet since I don't yet have time to do so
myself.

I'm still interested in seeing planetplanet packaged, so please check
with Norbert and go ahead if it's ok for him ;-)

OK, I had some free minutes, and created a package. It's not yet done,
and especially not yet lintian clean.

http://people.debian.org/~nobse/temp/planet/

I'll try to finish it during the rest of this week.

I use planet myself and retitled the RFP to an ITP. I've been pretty
busy and haven't yet had the time to package planet. Norbert, if you
have more time to package planet, you're welcome to do so. Otherwise,
I'll package it as soon as I get some free time (hopefully in the next
few weeks).

I never wanted to package it myself; that's why I've filed an RFP in
August 2005, which was retitled to ITP by Michael Schultheiss in
November 2005. - Taking a second look I guess he should have taken
ownership of the bug too ;-)

Cc'ing Michael, and I'd be glad if one or both of you could come up
with a package.

Thanks for your initiative.

Hi Gregor,

what's the status of this ITP? Are you still interested in package
planetplanet? Do you need help?

Thanks, Norbert
