I've never said that. I'm just saying that theroa video are not
playable on all devices. Devices for me is not a computer but a DVD
player. Without MPEG2, Xvid, Divx encoding cinelerra is useless.

Well I managed to make a couple of videos
using theora+vorbis as input and outpout and it works ..

look yourself if it matters :

If the problem remains in fonts licencing , this sounds not like a big issue
