Fine. I simply found it impolite to assume CDBS-usage to be ok simply
because it is for some other packages maintained by same team. Whatever.

Ahem - by my sentence above regarding "my nick on subversion", I mean
to imply that I already have an account.

So, let me try again (this time cc'ed the list, as it seems you do not
have authority on your own):

I'd be happy to join the pkg-voip team. If you want me, then please add
the Alioth account "js" to the team, and arrange for that account the
get write access to your alioth subversion repository (which may or
may not be same thing - I have experienced SVN access trouble at other
teams!).

Please confirm if/when providing me the required SVN access.

There shouldn't be a problem using cdbs, since it's already used by some
packages maintained by the Debian VoIP Team.

I am tuning more actively into voip these days, so might also be
interested in helping out with some of your other packages if
interested.

I'll look at the above links, subscribe to your mailinglist and stuff
(have already looked quickly at your packaging, and will merge with my
own done using cdbs and other cleverness).

Could you please give me write access to your SVN? My nick at
subversion is "js".

You need to create an account on Alioth[1], and add your authorized SSH
key[2]. Then ask one of the pkg-voip project leaders[3] (or post to the
pkg-voip-maintainers mailing list) to add you to the VoIP team.

Yes, I am still interested in packaging srtp, but I'd be more than happy
to join you. If you don't mind using cdbs, that is ;-)

2006-07-21 Thread Mikael Magnusson
Hi,

are you aware of the Debian VoIP Team? You are welcome to join the team
and add the package to pkg-voip SVN repository[1].

What is the status of your package, any progress? I was going to post a ITP
on srtp myself when found yours, and I have made an experimental
package[2].

Yes. Please do so.

Writing the long description in the ITP allows debian-devel to help spot
any mistakes in, and make suggestions for improvement to, the long
description.
