2008-10-01 Thread Joenio Costa
Hi,

I was using ncmpcpp and did a package for my own use, i do not have much
experience in creating packages then may have something wrong, but if
you feel good idea i am willing to correct whatever it takes to add it

Slightly off-topic side note: ncmpc was dead until I decided to
continue its development several weeks ago. Here is the new upstream
repository (including nearly 200 new patches):

 http://git.musicpd.org/cgit/cirrus/ncmpc.git/

It is not yet clear when I will be able to release the upcoming
version 0.12, but I will let Sebastian know.

contains some new features ncmpc doesn't have. It's been also
rewritten from scratch in C++. Lack of some function (eg. tag
editor, no possibility of going to chosen position in playing song

it as ncmpcpp and include these functions in it.

Can this be used as a complete drop-in replacement for ncmpc? In that

What do you think?

Cheers,

That won't work. First, you need a short description and a long
description, second don't assume anybody knows what ncmpc is, thrist
probably nobody cares what language it's written in or that it's been
rewritten etc.

Try again.
