Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: David Paleino

* Package name: bist
  Version : 0.5.1
  Upstream Author : Valerio Benfante
* URL : https://gna.org/projects/bist/

* License : GPL
  Programming Lang: C++
  Description : chemical drawing tool

 Bist stands for BIdimensional STructures (in Italian it sounds like
 "beast" in English) and is a chemical drawing tool. It is focused on
 organic chemistry but it may be useful also for chemists or teachers.
 .
 Bist supports many of the formalisms used to describe molecular
 structures like single bonds, double bonds, stereospecific bonds,
 charges, resonance arrows, lone pairs, and so on.
 .
 It can export both in PostScript and PNG formats.

I'm very open to discuss a better short description :)

Kindly,
David

David,
  You should probably mention this package on the debian-science list.

You might like to consider which category it would fit on
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianScience/Chemistry and make that obvious
in the description.

You might want also to answer the question what features does it have
that the others don't. It also doesn't answer for me why I should
choose that package rather than the others listed on the wiki page.
