The package is almost ready. You may review it[1]. I need to rewrite
debian/copyright and may provide better basic configuration. Other
than these it should be ready for uploading.
If I may suggests some changes:
- copyright should follow dep5 format
- I think it could be nice to provide our proper init script to:
- use /lib/lsb/init-functions: (log_{daemon,progress,end}_msg, etc.)
- implement the 'status' command
- Fix all the minor errors in manpages detected by lintian
- add a watch file
I can provide patches for each of these suggestions.
About configuration files (*.ini), I agree that we should try to provide
defaults which works with all the architectures supported and check if
it works on kFreeBSD.
I'll be glad to co-maintain this package if you agree.
It could be nice also if the packaging could be on alioth so that it
will be easier to propose patches.
