I've uploaded the sbsigntool package to NEW (See #702254), which is required to build efitools. If/when sbsigntool is accepted, upload for efitools will follow. Go on then! Since the packaging files are now a bit old, I'm checking them and will upload it ASAP. Hi Pierre, Would you like to maintain these as part of the debian-efi team? Happy to help... I'd be happy to help too. By the way, pesign is already in Debian testing. We could go with either a Fedora-ish or Ubuntu-ish Secure Boot implementation... --Jared -- Jared Domínguez OS Architect Linux Engineering Dell | Client Software Group

retitle 702255 RFP: efitools -- Tools to manipulate EFI secure boot keys and signatures noowner 702255 tag 702255 - pending thanks Hi, A long time ago, you expressed interest in packaging efitools. Unfortunately, it seems that it did not happen. In Debian, we try not to keep ITP bugs open for a too long time, as it might cause other prospective maintainers to refrain from packaging the software. This is an automatic email to change the status of efitools back from ITP (Intent to Package) to RFP (Request for Package), because this bug hasn't seen any activity during the last 15 months. If you are still interested in packaging efitools, please send a mail to cont...@bugs.debian.org with: retitle 702255 ITP: efitools -- Tools to manipulate EFI secure boot keys and signatures owner 702255 ! thanks It is also a good idea to document your progress on this ITP from time to time, by mailing 702...@bugs.debian.org. If you need guidance on how to package this software, please reply to this email, and/or contact the debian-ment...@lists.debian.org mailing list.
