I have updated the packaging. It should now be ready for upload!

Thank you for your work on this package. I had a quick look and I think that 
copyright information might be incorrect as I could not find any evidence of

Could you please elaborate where is this came from?

In situations when copyright/license information is not obvious it is useful 
to add "Comment" field with URL providing some evidence (e.g. upstream bug or 
commit).

Also please CC to pkg-go-maintain...@lists.alioth.debian.org when you seek 
review and sponsorship -- it helps to make your request more noticeable.

I noticed that Michael Crosby  was the one to
commit the license.

However, this is not very convincing as he is not the project creator.
