Description : CLI version of Valve's Steam software distribution system

(From the Valve developer wiki)
The Steam Console Client or SteamCMD is a command-line version of the Steam
client. Its primary use is to install and update various dedicated servers
available on Steam using a command-line interface. It works with games that use
the SteamPipe content system. All games have been migrated from the deprecated
HLDSUpdateTool to SteamCMD.

SteamCmd is a command line version of Steam, that is much more suitable for
server installation than the GUI client. Aside from the X-less interface, it
also allows game server downloads without requiring a Steam account login.

As Debian is a common distribution for Linux servers these days, it would make
a lot of sense to package it and offer easy installation to game server
operators.

The license is proprietary and no source is available, so the package would
presumably go into the non-free repository, like steam.
