I myself prefer to include the .js suffix in order to be as close as possible from upstream. My rationale is that someone who wants to include this library as a dependency will either look for the upstream package name, or look for some substring that is part of the upstream package name. But either way, I guess this depends on the preference of the maintainer. -- Sergio GPG key ID: 237A 54B1 0287 28BF 00EF 31F4 D0EB 7628 65FC 5E36 Please send encrypted e-mail if possible http://sergiodj.net/ signature.asc Description: PGP signature

It might be advisable (for someone looking to fulfill this RFP) to keep the .js in the source package name but remove it from the binary package name. Then someone looking to install or depend on the package doesn't have to keep track of which of the upstreams like to include the '.js' suffix. -- Sean Whitton

Hi Sean, Yes, I use the upstream name as part of the package name. In this case, the upstream is At.js, so the package name becomes libjs-jquery-at.js. Dear Sergio, Is there some reason some of your package names have '.js' and some of them don't? -- Sean Whitton
