Are you volunteering to maintain a bundled upstream project that
includes all these small modules?

It's a waste of Debian resources, i.e. a huge overkill to wrap a trivial
one-liner, and even that one made wrong (check the "source", it's
considering non-ASCII paths as not worth being converted).
