  You're quite welcome!

I cloned that to take a look. I see that it only seems to have one
branch & one commit, but multiple tags?

I'll note that when I work on a Debian package that does not
already have a git repo, I'll create one using the deb snapshots (even
If I don't plan to adopt the package) as I like having the history. I
think that there are at least two commands that one can use to do that
but so far in this case I've only recalled one, which is using "gbp
import-dscs --debsnap sn".

Yep, that's me. (Sorry; I should have specified...)

Thanks! And I did get the notification that I'd been added to the
project. (And have logged in to it but so far haven't done anything
more than verify what to use to clone the git repo.)

Appreciate it, when you have a chance to do that. (And as a
reminder; although both emails addresses are on my GPG key, I use
"j...@rocasa.us" for Debian packaging.)

I'll be doing that (though I'll want to work on the layout ...) but
first I still need get the bug retitled as an ITA before this weekend
is over.

Hi Robert,

thanks for your offer to take over the sn package!

I had put the sn package into git but as far as I recall I never
published that repository. Fixed that, see
. Assuming that your account is
rjclay-guest, I have added you as a maintainer to the project. I still
need to add uploading privileges for you, but you should be able to get
started with the Salsa repo in the meantime.

Cheers,
-Hilko

I've had & will continue to have a use for it so I'm quite
interested in the package.

Not the only thing that needs fixing I see; is there a public VCS,
hopefully using GIT? If not; I'd want to create one & would then
need to get it added to salsa.

I'm a DM (under my 'j...@rocasa.us' email, though my
'rjc...@gmail.com address is also on my GPG key) but of course 'sn'
would not yet be listed as one of my packages, so that would be of
great help.

Package: wnpp
Severity: normal

I haven't used sn, a small NNTP server for leaf sites, in many years.
There has been no active upstream for even more years. The package will
be auto-removed from testing soon because of #909928.

If the person willing to take this package over has no upload rights,
I'd be happy to sponsor uploads until he/she gets DM status.
