I have merged your branch and granted you push permission to the master branch. I have reverted one of your commit [1], because pre-dependency should be discussed on debian-devel mailing list [2] and it is not used by 7zip. So, I don't want to introduce a pre-deps by mistake ;-) I just uploaded it to NEW. Feel free to ping me if you need to upload a new version of 7zip. And thanks again for your work on 7zip! My "7zip" package is come from original "7-Zip" project. Have you contacted the p7zip maintainer (CCed) to check what might be blocking updating the packages to a newer upstream version, instead of duplicating them?
