Unless your formal education in your own language is better than mine,
you'll probably understand it when I say that I have no idea why I feel
the current version in CVS is correct. I learned more about english
grammar from taking a year of German than I did from all the english
classes I ever took.

If I were to write the sentence with "had" (which I probably would not
have done), I would probably have written it like this:

  Progeny had created a commercial version of Debian which did include
   ^^^
  several feature enhancements, such as a graphical installation,
  hardware detection support and improved configuration and management
  tools. This has mostly been integrated into Debian proper.

but I would rather write it with "did" before the first word, to
emphasize that it indeed is a past project:

  Progeny did create a commercial version of Debian, which included
  ^^^
  several feature enhancements, such as a graphical installation,
  hardware detection support and improved configuration and management
  tools; this has since mostly been integrated into Debian proper.

Well, IIRC from my high school English classes, that's how past perfect works:

  Progeny had created a commercial version of Debian that included

  several feature enhancements such as a graphical installation,

I also got an "Internal Server Error".

However, this only occurs when using Konquer 2.2.1 in conjunction with kde
2.2.1 running on 'sorry I am at work' slack 8 'Yes I know, but it's my
boss's fault'.


When browsing thru the pages at http://www.debian.org/

The folowing setups work fine:
mac-os & netscape 4, 5, 6 - OKIEDOKIE
mac-os & IE 5, 6  - OKIEDOKIE

GNU/Debian & netscape 4, 5, 6 - Sometimes little buggy with Netscape 4
and 5, anything else oke.
Slack 8 & netscape 4, 5, 6 - OKIEDOKIE

Mozilla on all platforms, stable.

Konquer is the only pain in the ?ss.

distribution. There's no need to put a "had" there, it sounds better just to
say that the created a distribution. Using "had" sounds very "German" to me,
and since you wrote "that included" I thought it was just an error of mixing
tenses (sp?).
