 Hello,

it might be interesting how often the fixed glibc .debs were downloaded
from security.d.o (DSA-282) because this package is installed on every
Debian machine and security updates are not mirrored (ok, there are
 apt-proxy and unofficial mirrors).

Is it possible to get this number from the logs?

 Thank you.

I guess it could be interesting to know this; the information should all
be there klecker, and a daily download tally for each package could be
given in (some part of) the security pages. Maybe this should be
re-filed as a wishlist bug to the Security Team. You might find they
have better things to do though. They're busy people. =)

Andrew.

Just test your changes before committing.

They require access to a bunch of Packages files... but then, Alioth isn't
set up for this either, quantz.d.o doesn't hold a copy of the archive.

Both quantz (Alioth) and vlaai (ftp.nl) are on SURFnet, so I guess I could
check with ftp.nl guys if we could NFS-mount it.

Hi.

After the opinions I heard (do it at home from Matt, use a
branch from Alfie, and the above statement about alioth from Joy),
I currently plan to do the following:
 - I will make a project on alioth for the sake of shell access to a
server on which I could set up a testing page.
For the beginning it will definetly suffice to just get some sample
Packages files via scp or wget.
 - Probably I will not use alioth for cvs because this is just
confusing. I will use a branch for the existing directory.

I don't want to do this in private, because I will need probably some feedback
and some testing, therefore the placing on alioth.

Suggestions? Objections?

Frank

PS: Need I a DD to set up a project on alioth?

So its not possible to get the number?
A simple grep|wc from the weblogs would be enough.

If you spent as much time looking for it as you spent writing that mail... :)

To whom it may concern,

I am curious as to how conversations between Craig Small and Chris
Anicich (re:riversidefaface.com) wound up being the result of a search
on yahoo.

I was directed to this page when I searched for www.riversideface.com
http://search.yahoo.com/bin/search?p=www.riversideface.com and followed
the first link to:

http://lists.debian.org/debian-www/2002/debian-www-200201/msg00136.html

I suspect it is a thread of a topic called: re:www.riversideface.com
that Chris Anicich may have started. As the webmaster, Dr. Scaccia and
myself are concerned about good rankings with search engines and wonder
how we can remove this thread as soon as possible.

debian-bugs-reports

2003-04-28 Thread Frank Lichtenheld
Hi.

I just noticed, that there is a file in MailingLists/desc/bugs/
named debian-bugs-reports, but that list do not appear on
(un)subscribe (because it's not in the lists.cfg) or lists.debian.org.
Is this a bug or intentional?

debian-bugs-reports used to be used for bug summaries, of the form the
following problem reports have not yet been closed or forwarded, so
please do something about them (see
master:/org/bugs.debian.org/scripts/mailsummary if you're curious). It's
still listed in master:/etc/debbugs/config, but as far as I know these
summaries have been disabled for quite some time.
