My own opinion is that the ddtp has several flaws, and until they
are fixed, I am not sure that translating via the DDTP is a good thing.

Darn,

It is me. Can web admin make sure followings are met on the machine
building these web page :-) Is it
www.debian.org (gluck.debian.org)
www-master.debian.org (klecker.debian.org)

As for packages to be installed:

Build-Depends-Indep: debhelper (>> 3.0.0), debiandoc-sgml(>= 1.1.67),
tetex-bin, tetex-extra, w3m (>= 0.3) | w3m-ssl (>= 0.3) | w3mmee (>= 0.3),
cjk-latex, freetype1-tools, tfm-arphic-bsmi00lp, tfm-arphic-bkai00mp,
tfm-arphic-gbsn00lp, tfm-arphic-gkai00mp, hbf-jfs56, hbf-cns40-b5, hbf-kanji48

These font may on testing or they may not be used at all. But it is
safe to have for CJK supports. Next time , I may have Korean. Then my
own language Japanese.

There is no JavaScript on the front page of www.debian.org ... it's
plain old HTML. I think you'd be better off reporting this to Opera
instead.

2003-07-22 Thread Rodney D. Myers
I realize Opera is (non)free software, but..

I'm using Opera 7.11, and some javascript on the main page cause Opera
to crash/die/abort/quit running.

It is annoying when trying to gather info, to have my web browser of
choice, suddenly cease to be running.

Thought you might be interested.

Who's using Debian

2003-07-22 Thread markus schatzl
Organization:
Brain Imaging Lab, Department of Neurology, University of Regensburg, Germany

Type:
educational

Homepage-link:
http://www.uni-regensburg.de/Fakultaeten/Medizin/Neurologie

Why:
We run a handful of workstations on a slightly customized Woody (e.g.
2.4.20-openMosix-kernel). These machines mainly do very I/O- and
CPU-intensive image-processing using SPM and Matlab. Another server does FTP
and SSH-accounting as well as serving as NFS-repository.

We choose Debian because we were in need of a _really_ stable base for our
research where even a small project takes an enourmous amount of time and
nerves and of course because the ease of updating packages, security issues
and the feeling of reliability and concept I got over the years using Debian
personally.

Not someone, something. Whenever the archive pulses the update, it cvs up's

Yeah, I guess. {m} can be the default if unspecified.

Oh yes :)

"Ovo izdanje DWN-a su prevele %s."

Thankfully, the forms for male plural and male+female plural are equal. :)

Yes. Male form would be:

"Ovo izdanje DWN-a je preveo %s."

whereas the female form would be:

"Ovo izdanje DWN-a je prevela %s."

It can be worked around by using some more crude, generic verbiage, but the
above form is the normal one.

Hi!

which we already have in our install manual ,-) I'm asking him if he
likes to propose changes to it might be easier to find them for others.
