Wrong indication in http://w.d.o/devel/testing?

2004-02-29 Thread Free Ekanayaka

Hi,

I'm searching for the code of the scripts used to perform the tests on
unstable packages before accepting them into testing.

According to the last lines of:

http://www.debian.org/devel/testing

they should be in the Debian CVS:

:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs/dak/testing

but such module doesn't seem to exist any longer..

Hints?

Thanks in advance,

Free Ekanayaka

 package.

You're right, the code is broken. But since it is older than the CVS
repository, I don't know who to blame for that ;) Below is a patch that
should solve the issue. Can someone think of a cause why this wasn't
detected in the at least two years this code exists?

Bug#235508: packages.debian.org: link to package upstream homepage

2004-02-29 Thread Jerry Quinn
Package: www.debian.org
Severity: wishlist

At least 50% of the time I go to a package page, I'd like to be able to visit
the upstream homepage, if only to learn more about what it is. It would be
really nice to have a link right there, instead of having to google for it.

These days it's here:

I've updated /devel/testing accordingly.

You should at least find the download location in the corresponding
copyright file, which is linked at the bottom of each page.
Maintainers are also free to include a upstream URL in their packages'
description.

But there is nothing more packages.d.o can do about it, I think.
