I've got no problems with it. It's fairly commonly referenced on d-mentors,
so I guess most people there like it, especially since I haven't gotten any
hate mail about it.

It all really depends on whether the webmasters think my little FAQ deserves
status amongst the big guns of Debian documentation...

BTW: does uupdate has possibility to detect new version of package
basing on the date of file?

If not then could you please tell me what is debian/watch in tetrinet for?

This request came up quite often, and I can just tell you to eather
search the archives for it, or take this short answers:

Package maintainers could add the link both in their package
description, or on the packages.qa.debian.org page of the package (like
I have done for tetrinet[1] -- I'm still lazy myself, sorry).

Of course a url field in the package control field would be nice (and
could be extracted automatically then), but that has to be requested
from the dpkg/apt maintainers. There is nothing the webteam can do about
it, sorry.

 So long,

I'm sorry but such requests are not fulfilled. The archives are there
for others to search for and get ideas out of the answers others have
received. Removing your post would render the two answers you have
received void and its not yours to request removal of the answers, too.

People judging you by things you (didn't) know back in 1999 have their
own problems. Its not yours.

So long, and have a nice time.

The title of the DSA pages is taken from a different part than the
entry in the DWN -- one is from the subject and the other from the
synopsis.

Bug#253817: www.debian.org: page depending on po/whatever.po not rebuilt if whatever.po is modified

2004-06-11 Thread Nicolas Bertolissio
Package: www.debian.org
Severity: normal

Hi,

I modified french/po/templates.fr.po to fix a tag ( -> ) on
2004-06-02 but it seems CD/misc.fr.html has not been rebuilt since as
the fix does not appear in it (line 99).

Maybe a solution would be to touch CD/misc.wml but this is not a good
one... automatic rebuilt should occur.

Or I miss the right explaination, but It would be great if this page
could be rebuilt.

Regards

Nicolas Bertolissio
