Which languages do you have selected? www.de.d.o has apache2 for some
weeks now, which seems to handle some things differently, still
investigating...

Good idea.

I'd agree. Explanation of abbreviation should be enough.

 I'll do a s,buildd,buildd/ in that
file to make it clear. Would it make sense to link to buildd.debian.org,
too? I rather guess not...

Hello Michael,

I don't think this a typo, look at
http://www.debian.org/doc/developers-reference/ch-pkgs, section 5.10.3.3
buildd (or at the current DWN,
http://www.debian.org/News/weekly/2004/33/).

That's not typo. Debian's autobuilders are very often called buildd.
Take a look at http://buildd.debian.org/.
Buildd is abbreviation of build daemon.

typo on page www.debian.org/security/faq

2004-08-27 Thread Michael Coburn
Hi, under question "Q: I've got a bugfix, can I upload to
security.debian.org directly?", second paragraph of the answer, the word
buildd appears. I think the sentence should read:
"Packages currently cannot be rejected and the build would be confused
if it.."

Hope this helps!

Bug#268381: www.debian.org: German mirror does not honor browsers's language settings

2004-08-27 Thread Gabor Kiss
Package: www.debian.org
Version: N/A; reported 2004-08-27
Severity: normal

Since a few weeks www.de.debian.org does not care what is the preferred
language setting in my browser. I got always the English version.
Other (randomly selected) mirrors work well.
