The site will be added to the Who's using Debian page shortly.

Thanks for your support!

archive.debian.org doesn't work!!

2004-12-27 Thread Salvador Queralt Red
I need to get some Slink (Debian 2.1) packages, but the site doesn't
seem to work since I'm trying to get in (several days): zero size
reply. Does somebody know (or can do) something? Can you get those
CD-images somewhere else in the net?

Notification about outdated translations by email doesn't work

2004-12-27 Thread Juraj Kubelka
Hi!

Can you help me? I think I'm not notified about changes in webwml by
email.

There are outdated pages:

http://www.debian.org/devel/website/stats/cs.html#outdated

There is translator.db.pl file for Czech translations:

http://cvs.debian.org/webwml/czech/international/czech/translator.db.pl?rev=1.3cvsroot=webwmlcontent-type=text/vnd.viewcvs-markup

Thank you very much

Jura

The cvs commits are posted to the debian-www-cvs mailing list. If you
wish to track what happens to the pages, that is a good place to start.

There are no automatic notifications. Here are files derived from our
(=French team) setup:
  * czech/international/czech/Makefile: you can commit it
  * cron-webwml-mail: this script has to be run daily on a machine with
webwml checkout (at least english, czech and Perl directories, plus
some scripts on top-level directory). Replace address_for_orphaned_pages
by a valid address, and test this script: IIRC you can add -g flag
and replace default address (i.e. after -m flag) with yours, you
then receive all mails.

The Makefile happened to trigger two bugs of /usr/bin/test from woody's
coreutils in one call ;)[1] To solve the problem swiftly I committed
appropriate fixes and the build seems to work fine now. If there are
any problems with my patch, please contact me.

Also, there seems to be only a very old version of the Japanese pdf
version available (21-04-2002). Maybe it would be better if that was
 removed.

Given the fact that this file can't rebuild from the sources right now
I would support that request. Any objections? (I also CCed debian-www
to get a broader attention).
