Hi Frans, The patch below updates the powerpc install page to describe the status as in Sarge (i.e. it reflects the installation manual). Nothing controversial here (at least AFAIK ;-) The only curious thing is that the Sarge manual explicitly drops the IBM RS/6000 p630 as a supported machine. I did the same on the page, perhaps some one on debian-powerpc can correct this if it is still supported. Ok, I renamed the English file into repository-howto.en.html and dropped the PDF version from the page. I remember that a French translator complained about build problems, but it worked for me in the past IIRC ... Let's analyse this later again. help fixing XHTML pages
Hi, everyone! Someone on #debian (I believe it was madduck) suggested for me to post this on the list. What I want to do is convert xhtml pages on www.debian.org to XHTML 1.0 Strict. The thing is that debian.org uses a tool called WML to generate the web pages. I need help in learning how to do this. I've downloaded the web site to my local machine, and I've read http://www.debian.org/devel/website/ and its links. I just would like someone to show me, step by step, how to convert a wml page to an xhtml page. Could someone help me do this? I'll be on #debian-women, or you can respond to the list. My handle is geekchic9. Thanks, Morgan -- The only way to create things well is to first create them badly. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? d-i GUI 404
Hi! At http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/gtk-frontend, there used to be some data about the planned graphical frontends to d-i. This page is now 404. Since I reference it from my book, I would appreciate if you could provide a redirection to http://wiki.debian.net/?DebianInstallerGUI . Maybe there is also a better site, or the GTK GUI has a new home that I could not find. If you think that a redirection is inappropriate, please let me know so I can publish an erratum for the book.
