Bug#368939: www.debian.org: outdated changelogs for packages that got recent DSAs

2006-05-25 Thread Filipus Klutiero
Package: www.debian.org
Severity: normal

For example, http://packages.debian.org/stable/web/mozilla-firefox
currently links to
http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/m/mozilla-firefox/mozilla-firefox_1.0.4-2sarge7/changelog
which yields a 404. One has to go back to -sarge5 to get the changelog.
This is better than nothing, but isn't much useful to check the changes
contained is a security update prior to installation.

Something seems to have broken the update of the changelogs.

packages.d.o shows packages in experimental when you search for "any",
but it does not offer "experimental" in the list of distributions to
search.

Sure; most of the bugs are bugs that were opened up against
bugs.debian.org which I fixed in our repository, but weren't fixed in
the overall documentation.

BTW: One small change: a $gBug found its way into the description of
forcemerge; could you change that to bug ?

[We interpolate that in our documentation, but you guys don't.]
