Given that I triggered this mail with a comment on IRC, I agree :-)

I think the history page should preferably list the votes per year, per
category (decided/withdrawn/other).

Another option would be a separate page per year with only a devision by
category. Maybe the total number of votes for that is to low though.

Lenght of vote bar in http://www.debian.org/vote/

2007-02-03 Thread Manoj Srivastava
Hi folks,

As time and GR's pass, the length of the navigation bar for
the vote pages keeps increasing. Considering that the list of votes
is getting long, and that the most recent votes/elections are now at
the bottom of the page, perhaps it is time to consider a refactoring
 of the vote bar?

I was thinking of adding a history page, which has the
historical votes, in the current chronological order; and add that
new historical page to the nav bar, and then restrict the votes shown
in the navigation bar to, say, the last 3 years or so.

So, in http://www.debian.org/vote/2007/vote_001, all the votes
for 2004 and prior shall be relegated to the History page.

What do you think?

you're right, Philip Faltin Computervertrieb has no longer any relation
to Linux.

I removed it from our site.

Thanks,

Update of http://www.debian.org/distrib/pre-installed

2007-02-03 Thread Matthias Kirschner
On http://www.debian.org/distrib/pre-installed I just take a look at
http://www.computeronlineshop.net/Betriebssysteme.html and did not find
any option to buy hardware with Debian GNU/Linux pre-installed. I just
saw Microsoft Vista...

Best wishes,
Matze
