misleading information,
Hi all, as i am currently browsing through: http://packages.debian.org/unstable/doc/ it appears to me there is one misguiding entry on gnuplot-doc: Citing: gnuplot-doc (4.2.2-1) Dokumentation für den GNU Privacy Guard (sorry this appears in german language, as I am german). Comment: package gnuplot and its related documentation are both dedicated to the 2-dimensional, batch-oriented plotting software GNUplot (source: http://www.gnuplot.info/) and IMHO are not related directly to GNU privacy guard (which is a tool for securing communication). kind regards, Bruno Hopp -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.gesis.org -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Thanks for your report - I'm CCing Frank Lichtenheld who might be able to have a look at this. The problem only appears to occur on some language-specific versions of the page. The code behind the page was recently updated: http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-announce/2007/09/msg1.html. That message mentions some problems with broken string translation. Maybe the broken translation code can be switched off until it works properly? We need to put that string into a tag which is marked as something that comes up in po/mirrors.po, I think. I can't remember the syntax offhand, but I'm going to look it up and fix it if nobody beats me to it. -- 2. I think this change is Ok. It is not as if we are changing the social contract; this is a bug fix. And, if memory serves me correctly, the document we voted on was plain text; the HTML version was created by me after the fact; and the URL's were added while doing so. I didn't touch the old versions of Social Contract, if is is OK, I can apply smart_change on them too. Please do. Cheers Luk Yes I am aware that it's just for conferences and the like, but what about a conference or holiday that happens from 20 Dec 2007 till Jan 4 2008. I cannot add that at the moment. Also there might be events in 2008 and possibly 2009 that we already know about, that was the only reason I sugested that it be updated, also I'm don't see anyone wanting to put in eevents that are in the past (2006). Since it's a PHP page the drop down for year could be changed to the following: php function getYearSelect($name){ $select_html = select name=\{$name}\; $currYear = date('Y'); for ($year=$currYear; $year = ($currYear + 4); $year++){ $select_html .= option{$year}/option } $select_html .= /select; } /php Then a simple: print(getYearSelect('end_year')); will print the select for the end_year Hope that helps, and makes sence... -- Thank you, Clifford W.
