Yeah, I thought of that, but wanted to get it to build first ;)

I suggest you try the option -C of debiandoc-sgml v1.2.8 as commented in the
makefile, this should simplify the sed stuff. Don't know whether it will
work on www-master, please test it yourself.

implement Textcha... nothing is decided yet.

I agree that it's a pain, but we have to improve the spam filtering
solution.
(At the same time, prompting for textcha on save would prevent some
users from saving a page 10 times in one hour ;-)

Using ``textchas_disabled_group = u"Known" `` could be a good solution:
ie. require Textcha to create an account or anonymous edits.

But it doesn't seems to work ATM.

We really don't want to maintain any large group manually.

Once we have openid (for DD, DM/alioth), we'll see if we can use those
openid source to grant rights.

There is no such group at the moment.

Charles Plessy is asking how to get the full history of the contributors
of a page. I have always fount unfortunate that moinmoin only show an
incomplete list of contributors (not giving credits). By default it
shows 100 commits, and the maximal internal is 200, so the URL below
only list 200 contributions:
  http://wiki.debian.org/Proposals/CopyrightFormat?action=info&max_count=999

Applying any license to the wiki will require to list the
contributors/copyright holders, isn't it?

Moinmoin's history_count[1] syntax is:
   history_count = (default_count_shown, max_count_shown)

Since moinmoin provides no easy way to view the whole list, I would
suggest to use :
history_count = (1, 10)

Probably this was dicussed somewhere else, but I could not find the
discussion.

I'm concerned about the TextCha implementation, as its a pain to make it
mandatory for every change, nor is it a good choice to have it only for
anonymous users, as registering a new user is trivial.

In the wikis I administer I have used moin groups to distinguish between
moderators (the ones that can add a user to the editors groups) and editors
(the ones that can edit pages). In this context, I prefer to have:
textchas_disabled_group = u'EditorsGroup'

And some explanation in the wiki of how you can get added to the EditorsGroup.
Is this suitable for wiki.d.o ?

Thanks and sorry for bringing up something thats probably already decided, but
I could not find any mail about it.

Please CC me as I'm not subcribed to debian-www.
