The fault probably lies with your download software, please see
http://www.debian.org/CD/faq/#small-dvd

Error downloading dvd distribution

Hello,

I  am trying to download the dvd
distribution of the last stabe released.

I tried to download the two files reported
on:

http://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/3.1_r1/i386/iso-dvd/

 

while the page state the size of the files as
4Gbyte, when I’ve downloaded they are 300M and 100M.

The same size is reported on some mirrors,
like:

http://ftp.softnet.tuc.gr/ftp/linux/debian-cd/3.1_r1/i386/iso-dvd/

 

Is there any issue with the current
packaging?
