We already had a report about some problems in February. At the time, it 
seemed only an issue with a single customer, so they remained on the list. 


Given that 1) you're the second person to complain and 2) their site is 
offline, I have now removed them from our list.

Trouble with vendor

Hello debian team,
please remove the vendor Lunatec Computer Ltd.(http://www.debian-iso.de)
from the list of DVD distributors.

I ordered 5x Debian DVDs on 13.03.2008 and paid in advance. The package
has not been delivered until now. They announced to refund my money. But
this never happened. 

Meanwhile their web site is down and I can't get in contact any more
with this company. You find the details in the appending email thread.

Herr Hoppe und 2 andere Mitarbeiter sind momentan leider krank, weshalb
es bei uns (v.a. im Open Source Shop) zu einem ziemlichen Durcheinander

Hi,

I got a response from Lunatec: They say they sent off the DVD, and an 
investigation they started later with German Post indicated that it had 
reached its intended destination. Despite this report, they sent off 
another DVD, and never heard back, so assumed everything was OK.

For us Debian people, it's impossible to tell whose fault it is, so I 
cannot help you any further, Michael, sorry! We generally only remove 
entries from the Debian vendor list if there are several complaints and/or 
no response from the vendor - for now, this is not the case for Lunatec.

on 18.07.2007 I ordered "1 x Debian 4.0 'Etch' DVD  6,99 EURO" via "Lunatec 
Computer Ltd."
the product was announced as available. Next Day i remitted the money. Two 
weeks later i asked via
E-Mail about the state of the delivery and a member of the company told me that 
the package was send on 
24th of July. Also they told me that they get no returning of the send package. 
The offered to start an
investigation and want to resend the package. On 5th of september a member of 
the company answer to my
question that there was no result on the investigation.  Lunatec offered to 
send the package by the next days.
This Mail was the last answer. Since this day it is impossible to reach the 
company by E-mail or Telephone.
