IIRC translators can choose any encoding they like, file content is recoded when pages are generated. But as conversion is performed on all web pages, choosing the same charset as the one in .wmlrc should consume less CPU usage. Denis

Will check the spanish dirs... the news/ files have a .transignore and there's no point putting a translation-check in those files IMHO, however adding the 1.1 will probably do nothing since news do not change as frequently as other pages. Regarding the translated pages in ports/ I have contacted the person in charge to see if he rembembers which versions where translated and act accordingly (he did not read the uptodate stuff :( Regards Javi

However, there are a number of files still left that need to be checked. Can the translators for the following languages please check the attached file: * Esperanto * Spanish * Finnish * Danish * German * French * Romanian * Greek * Korean * Turkish * Polish * Japanese * Croatian * Chinese and insert appropriate translation-check headers with the current translated versions in the files. If this is not done, I'll add a generic header next weekend, showing the documents as translation of 1.1, which *will* mark them as severely outdated. I have already added 1.1 headers to documents that were missing markers, but translated a 1.1 version, so the ones listed in the attached files are all undetermined cases. Hi, I'd like to know if the debian.org webmasters intend to resolve the CVSWeb problem. The #62362 was opened 45 days ago and Christophe Lebars posted a solution for this problem (see bug reports) I contacted the CVSWeb upstream authors but they did'nt reply to me. This is critical as translation projects use links to cvsweb documents because not everyone can directly access documents through cvs. As a possible solution was given, I don't understand why nothing has been done since. Please consider my request. Jérome.
