Commiters in X.Org upstream tree?

2005-08-04 Thread David Martínez Moreno
Hello to all. I would like to know who in this list has an account in
X.Org
upstream CVS. I count 1, Daniel Stone, as far as I know. I do not know if
Branden has (I think that not).

I would like to submit at least several typos that I am fixing in SVN,
in
order to have a cleaner 6.9 tree.

Best regards,

Ender.

He does, and so do I.

The usual procedure is to attach patches to bugzilla entries. Feel free

I gave Branden commit access a couple of months ago. Michel Dänzer has
commit access too.

Bug#321289: xlibs: ATI Remote Wonder RF Remote Control - events missing in Xev

2005-08-04 Thread Jo Shields
Package: xlibs
Version: 6.8.2.dfsg.1-4
Severity: normal

The ATI Remote Wonder is an RF remote, which communicates via a USB
dongle, and the ati_remote.ko kernel module. I have noticed that my
Remote Wonder, which I've brought out of storage for a MythTV project,
does not function correctly - five of the buttons are not detected at
all by Xev.

Normally, events from the remote are read as keyboard events - the A
button on the remote is read as a normal capital A keyboard press (Plus
mouse events from the mouse part of the remote).

The non-functional keys are: TV, DVD, Channel Up, Channel Down, and OK

Using evtest results in the following output:
Event: time 1123178329.877370, type 1 (Key), code 377 (TV), value 1
Event: time 1123178329.877371, type 1 (Key), code 377 (TV), value 0
Event: time 1123178329.877373, type 0 (Reset), code 0 (Reset), value 0
Event: time 1123178330.573484, type 1 (Key), code 389 (DVD), value 1
Event: time 1123178330.573485, type 1 (Key), code 389 (DVD), value 0
Event: time 1123178330.573487, type 0 (Reset), code 0 (Reset), value 0
Event: time 1123178333.501969, type 1 (Key), code 403 (ChannelDown),value 1
Event: time 1123178333.501971, type 1 (Key), code 403 (ChannelDown),value 0
Event: time 1123178333.501973, type 0 (Reset), code 0 (Reset), value 0
Event: time 1123178334.478132, type 1 (Key), code 402 (ChannelUp), value 1
Event: time 1123178334.478134, type 1 (Key), code 402 (ChannelUp), value 0
Event: time 1123178334.478136, type 0 (Reset), code 0 (Reset), value 0
Event: time 1123178336.446461, type 1 (Key), code 352 (Ok), value 1
Event: time 1123178336.446462, type 1 (Key), code 352 (Ok), value 0
Event: time 1123178336.446464, type 0 (Reset), code 0 (Reset), value 0

Using showkey results in the following output:
0x00 0x82 0xf9 0x80 0x82 0xf9
0x00 0x83 0x85 0x80 0x83 0x85

0x00 0x83 0x92 0x80 0x83 0x92
0x00 0x82 0xe0 0x80 0x82 0xe0

Xev shows absolutely ZERO output for these same keys. All other keys
however show up fine:
KeyPress event, serial 30, synthetic NO, window 0x261,
root 0x133, subw 0x262, time 1932612, (61,13), root:(66,35),

Bug#126519: Wish you could get laid tonight?

2005-08-04 Thread Jandy Leathers
There is this free date site filled with tons of sex-addicts.

No flowers, no gifts, just meet up for action :)

There are also a few who want a serious relationship though
So if you want a long-termer, or a one-nighter, you got it ;)

Whatever floats your boat pretty much!

Bug#321357: xbase-clients: [xset] allowing autorepeat for a single key does not work

2005-08-04 Thread Uwe Storbeck
Package: xbase-clients
Version: 4.3.0.dfsg.1-14
Severity: normal

Switching autorepeat off for all keys and allowing it for a single key
does not work.

Switching autorepeat on for all keys but space does work as expected:

$ xset r
$ xset -r 65

But:

$ xset -r
$ xset r 65

does not work. I get no autorepeat for the space key.
I also have tried it with some letter keys, same effect.
