Bug#367675: xserver-xorg-input-aiptek: The X driver don't work with hyperpen 1200 U
Hi Guy, When i launch gaiptek (manualy compiled), i get this message : There is no XServer Input Driver associated with the tablet However the driver is here : $ dpkg -L xserver-xorg-input-aiptek | grep so$ /usr/lib/xorg/modules/input/aiptek_drv.so Only two suggestions at this point. First, we've now finished the X11R7.1 transition in unstable. Could you confirm if the problem still remains after the upgrade? Second, have you tried using xserver-xorg-input-hyperpen instead? It's only supposed to support Hyperpen 3000 - 6000, but it would be useful to confirm or refute if it also supports the 1200 model. Bug#394068: missing Compose sequences
Package: xkb-data Version: 0.9-2 Severity: minor Hi, I'm missing some compose sequences that I would have expected to be there. I have these bindings: keycode 21 = acute grave cedilla macron cedilla macron Now these work: Multi_key , c = ç Multi_key ' c = ć But these don't Multi_key acute c Multi_key cedilla c etc. I think they should, as it is obvious what the user wants when he enters this. Bug#394070: [xkbprint] Use symbols for all keys, even unknown, using unicode
Package: xbase-clients Version: 1:7.1.ds-3 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/xkbprint Hi, I have quite a few “interesting” symbols bound to various places on my keyboard, accessible in the second group (using AltGr). Examples: keycode 52 = y Y doublelowquotemark singlelowquotemark doublelowquotemark singlelowquotemark keycode 61 = minus underscore endash 0x01002212 endash 0x01002212 keycode 59 = comma semicolon 0x01002026 multiply 0x01002026 multiply (The unicode points are minus (−) and … respectively) Unfortunately, xkbprint writes their names or unicode numbers, instead of their symbols. I'd like to see xkbprint just use a unicode font to print _any_ keysym using a symbol – after all, a the names are too long and make the printout unreadable. Bug#393355: Problem solved, but new one raised: grave - important
* Alessio Gaeta wrote: Hi, thanks for quick reply. The problems has disappeared re-upgrading Compiz from 0.0.13 to 0.2.0 (I was following up my own post and I found yours...): don't ask me why, I'm wondering what's happened. Anyway now, when I launch 'compiz --replace', gtk-window-decorator crashes with a segmentation fault, so I don't get windows borders at all. Disabling the 'use_metacity_theme' in gconf/apps/gwd allow to gtk-window-decorator to start normally, but of course I don't still have windows borders. This fact makes me think to a compatibility problem with Metacity themes. I'm using the latest version available in Debian repositories of Metacity related stuff and xserver-xorg-core 2:1.1.1-9. Are you using metacity = 2.16 from experimental? That *could* explain the problem. Or did you perhaps change anything in the gconf entries for compiz? Are you explicitly specifying the plugins to load on the command-line? Do the effects work for you? That is, do you have wobbly windows? Transparency? Anything? - Thierry signature.asc Description: Digital signature
About GL_ARB_fragment_program and compiz
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post that kind of question, so forgive me if I'm getting something wrong.First of all I would like to thank the Debian X Strike Force team for this great work with compiz and all that X stuff. =) Here compiz work almost perfectly, only water compiz resource doesnt work well. After run 'compiz --replace' I receive the follow messages:libGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x5blibGL warning: 3D driver claims to not support visual 0x5b /usr/bin/compiz.real: No stencil buffer. Clipping of transformed windows is not going to be correct when screen is transformed./usr/bin/compiz.real: water: GL_ARB_fragment_program is missingSearching at google I found someone who said that is video card limitation but I would like to listen another opinions. According to 'lspci' my video card is one Intel Corp. Mobile Graphics Controller and I'm using i810 driver with Xorg. I'm also using i915 kernel module to set the pixel mode and video resolutions. Thanks, Matheus Morais
