Bug#421697: bug#421697: ATI Radeon x300 doesn't work anymore after upgrade

2007-06-10 Thread Florian Weimer
* Brice Goglin:

 Hi Florian,

There's a new release candidate of the ATI driver (6.6.192) in
experimental, you might want to try it in case it fixes your bug.

Sorry, no difference. I hooked up a monitor to the analog output, and
it showed garbage (a distored black-and-white checkerboard, but the
mouse pointer worked). Switching to the console didn't work, either.

Severity: normal

Hello,

When I run torcs in window mode, the menu is shifted about half screen
left and half screen down. When I move the window, the problem goes away.
Also, it doesn't appear in fullscreen mode.

This could be related to bug #382046.

Bug#377165: xserver-xorg: X reports duplicate keycodes for some keys

2007-06-10 Thread Juha Jäykkä
About a year ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding the X
server reporting some duplicated keycodes. Did you reproduce this
problem recently? With Xorg/Etch? With latest xserver-xorg-core in
unstable? If not, I will close this bug in the next weeks.

I no longer have access to the hardware which produced the effect, so I
cannot confirm or deny anything wrt the current versions. I'm sorry. I
think it is safe to assume, though, that the problem has gone away if
no-one else has complained about it.

 Hi,

Several months ago, you reported a bug to the Debian BTS regarding a
crash of the X server when running tulip. Did you reproduce this problem
recently? With Xorg/Etch? With latest xserver-xorg-core in unstable? If
so, we should add some comments to the URL above since this bug shows a
 similar crash backtrace.

Last month I still had the same issues, so the bug is still active for me.

Greetings,
Michael.

Thanks for investgating this issue, Jamey.

Debian X Strike Force, I want to ask what is the plan to upload a
XCB-enabled libX11 into unstable, and how urgent input method package
maintainers should test against XCB. (If an upload is expected soon, I
probably want to test the package in experimental with scim now.)

Thanks,
