Bug#467142: The 'dead_stroke' keys and 'EZH WITH CARON' don't work in Finnish keyboard
severity 467142 important retitle 467142 The 'dead_stroke' keys and 'EZH WITH CARON' don't work in Finnish keyboard thanks I upgrade the severity to 'important' because Finnish keyboard is partly broken and hence this is indeed a bug. Anyway, the fix is quite trivial: new upstream version of en_US.UTF-8/Compose.pre fixes this. See my previous post. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". It does not contain any actual code. What matters is xserver-xorg-coe (the actual Xserver) or xserver-xorg-video-intel (the driver). We'll see once you'll have sent the log of the crash. It's probably bug #463222 Please send the log of the crash. (and please don't use reportbug-ng since it does not include everything we need to diagnose the problem). Brice -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

After a bit of investigation it turned out that downgrading xserver-xorg alone does not help, what makes the difference is the xserver-xorg-video-ati package. sorry for the noise. -- Enrico Tassi -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#432110: i915: x server lockups
This bug occurs even in unstable (xserver-xorg-video-intel version 2:2.2.1-1). Mine graphics card is Intel GM965. The only change is, that screen doesn't turn black with cursor, but simple freezes. This happens mostly (but not only) when using 2D graphics acceleration (playing xmoto for example). Here is my output from kdm.log, hope it helps: X.Org X Server 1.4.0.90 Release Date: 5 September 2007 X Protocol Version 11, Revision 0 Build Operating System: Linux Debian (xorg-server 2:1.4.1~git20080131-1) Current Operating System: Linux Rimmer 2.6.24.2 #11 SMP PREEMPT Fri Feb 22 20:51 :26 CET 2008 i686 Build Date: 01 February 2008 03:49:13AM Before reporting problems, check http://wiki.x.org to make sure that you have the latest version. Bug#468278: Still present in latest git

Only Xserver does. If you want to test, you need to either build the Xserver's server-1.4-branch, or build the master branch (and you'll have to rebuild to drivers to be compatible).
