kFreeBSD next version (testing)

2013-08-10 Thread Bruno Melo
Hi, I want to know how is support for kFreeBSD.
In my case I have an intel gpu and a radeon HD 7730M and would love to play
0 AD on kFreeBSD
in one of these GPUs.
I have compiled intel driver from sources and yet X doens't start nor
radeon works. Unfortunately I'm being forced to use vesa.
May you fix it? Or guide me to fix?
Thanks for atention.

Bug#719293: xserver-xorg-core: if /tmp is not writable, Xorg fails silently

2013-08-10 Thread Salvo Tomaselli
Package: xserver-xorg-core
Version: 2:1.12.4-6.1
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,
when /tmp is not writable, Xorg fails without generating any relevant
log message, making the solution of the problem quite difficult.

The debian-...@lists.debian.org list might be able to help you with

the platform.

Bug#719059: pixman 0.30 add mips(32,64)r2 asm support, then symbols changed

Why are these symbols exported? They sound like they should be
internal, not part of the public ABI, and thus shouldn't need to be
listed in the symbols file.

I already talk to them and they told that is needed apply patches for
drivers work in kFreeBSD, so I think that is a job for the packagers.
