The swig2.0 package is obsolete; the 'swig' metapackage now points at
swig3.0 instead. If intel-gpu-tools needs to use swig at build-time (and
for the record, I can't find any evidence that it does use swig), please
build-depend on 'swig' instead of on 'swig2.0'.

If it doesn't use swig at build time, then of course it's preferable to drop
the build-dependency instead.

Thanks,

Bug#807040: general: System hangs and then restarts (kernel panic)

2015-12-23 Thread Nigra Truo
Hi,

Sorry, I was getting a little negative, this is really hard. I appreciate
any help you can give.
If I had the kernel logs, could you do something with them and help
determine what crashed.
I set up kexec, kdump to collect the logs.

Thanks,

Markus

Bug#808871: xserver-xorg-core: under Linux kernel >= 4.2: (EE) XKB: Could not invoke xkbcomp

2015-12-23 Thread Martin-Éric Racine
Package: xserver-xorg-core
Version: 2:1.17.3-2
Severity: important

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-
Hash: SHA256

Whenever booting this host under Linux kernel newer than 4.1, xkbcomp
systematically fails to load and Xserver exits with an error. The same result
happens whether xf86-video-geode or xf86-video-vesa is used. Under kernel 4.1
or 3.16, this issue does not happen and Xserver launches as expected.

Hello,

I'm getting the same issue with the "vite" package now that I have
migrated it from qt4 to qt5:

vite just happens to be using both QGLWidget and GL.
