Text mode consoles work fine with and without console-setup. This system uses an AMD CPU with integrated graphics: model name: AMD C-70 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 00:01.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI Device [1002:980a] As I've already passed that machine back to the owner (with sleep mode disabled in systemd config), it is difficult for me to do further testing. Bug#766922: xserver-xorg-video-radeon: resume from suspend/hibernate results in blank screen kernel 3.16

Package: xserver-xorg Version: 1:7.3+16 Severity: minor Hi, while looking for some clever debconf routines to reuse, I stumbled upon an internal implementation of readline in postinst of xserver-xorg. A comment indicates that the workaround kicks in, and is thus only then relevant, when debianutils older than 1.13.1 is installed. debianutils 2.8.4 is in oldstable, so it seems this workaround can be dropped, simplifying that postinst a bit. - Jonas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
