You're right:

The /usr/X11R6/lib/libXfont.so.1 didn't belong do any package and after
moving it away, everything's ok now.
Thanks!

Bug#444601: xserver-xorg-input-mouse: XF86DGADirectMouse mouse button mapping not working, no mouse wheel in some games

2008-07-05 Thread Julien Langer
Hi,

well I just upgraded my xserver-xorg-core to 1.4.2 and it works again.
I guess that nvidia-glx should depend on xserver-xorg-core >= 1.4.0 or
something like that.

Hi,

has anyone found a workaround for this bug?
This is still holding me back from upgrading my xserver.

Bug#255192: alt key broken?

2004-06-20 Thread Julien Langer
It seems that no shortcuts with the alt key work correctly any longer.

For example if I try to asign ALT+another key to an action in
gnome-keybinding-properties, it will asign "ALT_L" to the action,
instead of waiting for another key to be pressed.

Bug#236006: xlibs: less/greater/bar key doesn't work with display :0 on xfree86/pc105/de

2004-03-24 Thread Julien Langer
I purged xlibs, removed the remaining files in /usr/lib/X11/xkb/ and
then reinstalled xlibs und xbase-clients, and now it works.

That command doesn't output anything.

I also tried to start the server without a display manager with "xinit
/usr/bin/X11/xterm -- :0 vt7"

Same result. If I use :0, the key doesn't work, on :1 etc.. it works.

Bug#236006: xlibs: less/greater/bar key doesn't work with display :0 on xfree86/pc105/de

2004-03-05 Thread Julien Langer
I must correct me.
Xev receives an event, but it has no symbol assigned to the key:

KeyRelease event, serial 25, synthetic NO, window 0x2c1,
root 0x8d, subw 0x0, time 33601052, (658,361), root:(664,426),
state 0x10, keycode 94 (keysym 0x0, NoSymbol), same_screen YES,
XLookupString gives 0 bytes: ""

2004-03-03 Thread Julien Langer
Package: xserver-xfree86
Version: 4.3.0-3
Severity: normal

If I start a Xserver at display :0, the less/greater/bar key doesn't work. Xev
receives no event from this key.

The key works if I start a Xserver on another display than :0
