Is it in a log file somewhere? /var/log/dpkg.log will probably tell you. But if you could tell me whether you upgraded from a squeeze system to a sid system, that would be OK for me. Neither, I just did apt-get upgrade and dist-upgrade. That may have upgraded my release, I don't know. Looks like I spoke too soon. This morning the monitor looks, well psychedelic is the only word I think of to describe it. Yesterday evening was fine, this morning its not. I've done nothing other than turn the machine off/on.
