x.org packages needed (how may I help?)
I need xorg packages for Debian to continue development of xorg integration in Debian. I can't continue development of xfree86 integration in Debian because I don't know if the problem in already fixed in xorg and I don't want to start even to look at code that is probably different in xorg. How may I help?
x.org packages roadmap ?
I saw this post on slashdot.org: http://developers.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=121015&cid=10187780 This isn't funny. Do you have any roadmap to have x.org Debian packages? How may I help?
Bug#239341: xdm: unknown purpose tcp port open
Package: xdm Version: 4.3.0-7 Severity: normal I have this port open (that wasn't open in xdm 4.2.x) tcp0 0 0.0.0.0:33016 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 2179/xdm and I don't know what the purpose of that is. It seems like a bug or a Trojan in the binary (or source).

There's a bug or a Trojan in that binary (or source). If you don't know a good solution (downgrading is only a workaround) I'll fill a bug report.

Bug#233702: xserver-xfree86: no VT switch problems with KDE

It was the gkb applet that was making problems. I removed it, rebooted and now I can switch VTs. But, it didn't cause problems with the previous version of xfree86 (4.2.x)
Bug#233702: xserver-xfree86: no VT switch problems with KDE
It seems the problem is caused by gnome because I tried to switch VTs in KDE and there where no problems. I'm using "unstable". Could you try switching VTs in KDE? If you find no problem, close this bug.
Bug#233702: xserver-xfree86: same problem with different video card
I have this problem with a different video card: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: S3 Inc. VT8636A [ProSavage KN133] AGP4X VGA Controller (TwisterK) (rev 01) (prog-if 00 [VGA]) in my laptop. Any tip to find where the problem is?
