Bug#400189: vt1-6 destruction persists

The problem is still there. I just freshly reinstalled Debian etch on
my amd64 system through netinstall and ran into this problem too.
Forcing single-user mode and changing 'nv' into 'vesa' helped a bit,
but it still sucks.
