Downgrading to 22.2.4 fixes the issue. I'm using the proprietary nvidia driver, 
on another machine without a nvidia card, 22.3 works fine.

I have the same problem on my dell XPS 14z, It has an intel graphic
card, Intel® HD Graphics 3000 using i915:

Whenever I close the lid, I have a kernel panic in the i915 driver code.
My system is running SID and is up to date, I even tried the kernel from
experimental, 3.3.

I attached the xorg.conf file I'm using. I get the following error when
