Bug#760878: #760878: xserver-xorg-core: xserver crashes after a few clicks on a window (embedded ARM)
Some updates: 1. The LCD display is 480x272 and not 1024x600. 2. The system runs a custom kernel. With the custom 3.2.0 we used with Wheezy, the issue is not reproduced. It is reproduced with the custom 3.12.10 kernel we currently test (same system, booted with a different kernel). -- Tzafrir Cohen icq#16849755 jabber:tzafrir.co...@xorcom.com +972-50-7952406 mailto:tzafrir.co...@xorcom.com http://www.xorcom.com -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-x-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#594684: xserver-xorg-video-siliconmotion: siliconmotion driver segfaults on a Lemote YeeLoong (SM712 LynxEM+)
On Wed, Sep 01, 2010 at 02:58:33AM +0200, Cyril Brulebois wrote: Hi Tzafrir, Tzafrir Cohen tzaf...@cohens.org.il (28/08/2010): I was not able to get any useful backtrace from the core file. So I added some debug messages to the driver. The last part of the log below with those debug messages (befault the segfault message): […] So it basically segfaults at the first outb() in SMI_EnableMmio(). With “exotic” drivers like this one, you want to install xserver-xorg-core-dbg, as well as a customly-rebuilt driver using this environment variable: DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=noopt nostrip; that should get you an exploitable core file. For the record, there seems to be a patch for it, but one that is too Loongson-specific, in the two patches mentioned in http://lists.debian.org/debian-mips/2010/08/msg00051.html As mentioned further down that thread, it did not work for me. -- Tzafrir Cohen | tzaf...@jabber.org | VIM is http://tzafrir.org.il || a Mutt's tzaf...@cohens.org.il || best tzaf...@debian.org|| friend -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-x-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#530820: #530820: xkb-data: Please add il variant to replace underscore with hebrew hyphen
The hyphen is already part of the 'lyx' variant. I don't think any separate character should have its own group. There are symbols missing, indeed. But I'm not sure that this is the right place to add them. -- Tzafrir Cohen | tzaf...@jabber.org | VIM is http://tzafrir.org.il || a Mutt's tzaf...@cohens.org.il || best ICQ# 16849754 || friend -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-x-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe.
